Sierra
Sierra was founded by Ken and Roberta Williams. Ken was working as a contract programmer for IBM. They created a game called: Mystery House for home computers. This game became very popular and they sold 15 000 copies. A few years later, they tried the home video game market, but like a large number of companies, they were stuck with piles of cartridges for millions of dollars that no one wanted to buy. The company still exists today and creates computer games.
They created six games in limited distribution. The most popular game published was BC’s Quest of Tires based on the comic strip character B.C. They also published one of the rarest Colecovision game: Wiz Math The Wizard of Id’s an educational game. Some games have different boxes and label designs. Most of the time, the blue metallic label is damaged making a mint label very hard to find.
